Our kitchen cabinetry upfit/remodel work is complete for our clients in Troutman, NC. We custom fabricated a set of upper cabinets and installed them above their current cabinets, extending their cabinetry and storage to the ceiling, and wrapped matching crown molding around their newly completed ensemble. We also removed all of the original door and drawer fronts and built shaker style fronts to replace all of them. We re-envisioned the wine rack section to become an open area with wood shelves, and added some trimwork to all of the plain/flat outer cabinetry faces. We finished by painting the cabinetry and existing backsplash in SW's "Perfect Geige" paint.

Earlier this year we completed built-in cabinetry work in their adjacent laundry room. You can see the matching cabinetry and paint in this area through the doorway in the final picture.

We completed these special sets of sliding doors for three different doorways in our clients home. They wanted us to create a way to hide the sliding "barn door" hardware system, to make for a tidy and modern appearance for their doorways. So, we designed and crafted a special valance box + header ensemble for the top of each entryway, which hides the top-mount rollers and box rail system of the doors from view. Since sliding door tracks do need occasional maintenance/tightening, we designed the valance boxes to be quickly and easily removable via a french cleat hanging system. These boxes simply lift up and off of the cleat on the headerboard for removal, and reinstall in the opposite manner after service.

Our goal here was to creatw a modern/smooth/chic alternative to the look of traditional barn doors and hardware, yet still offer the space saving function and aesthetic impact of sliding doors. Paint color is SW's "Snowbound". We hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday!

Our crew completed the demo of our clients former tile backsplash, replaced their sheetrock, and installed a beautiful new tile backsplash. We then installed a new vent hood and range supplied by Hoodly, and ran larger diameter metal vent piping needed for the higher CFM motor through their attic to the exit at their roof. We crafted and installed sliding doors for several entryways, and we will share those with you over the weekend 😀. Also, we welcomed Isaac, Jacob's brother, to the team this past week. He is in the yellow shirt, and doing a great job!

This custom study room is complete! We love libraries/studies, and this project was a particularly special one for us, as were able to incorporate a fireplace, stained rear upper cabinet panels, and also install wallpaper throughout the room. The blend of paint, stain, and wallpaper colors that our client selected works together so well, and we love her whimsical style! Check out those bunny door k***s 🐰. We will follow up this post with a video post, so please be on the look out for that, as it captures well the realistic look of the Dimplex electric range. Paint: SW's "Stardew". Happy Monday everyone! Our latest set of custom is complete for our clients in Mooresville, NC. This office ensemble features a variety of drawer storage, as well as closed and open storage. Two seperate charging ports make for clean cable management and device charging. We integrated the ensemble into an existing column in the space, and painted the column to match for a hollistic look. Paint color is SW's "Rare Gray". We hope you all have a blessed week. God is good!

A couple of years ago I stepped off the porch of a new construction job, after installing a barn door track. Someone had placed a piece of cardboard over a deep hole at the base of the stairs. I stepped on the cardboard full weight from the top step to bring my tools back to the truck, and rolled my ankle so badly i thought i had broken it. I hobbled around for a few weeks then it finally "got back to normal", but I still get aches and pains, especially at the end of the day. Jared over at has really been helping me out, with my ankle and other PT matters. Installing cabinetry can be tough on an old man 😆! I highly recommend them, as well as their gyms in Mooresville and Statesville. They are a great combo, and are the finest gyms in the area, IMO! Just wanted to highlight some great local businesses to our followers.
