Foundations are going in at the new Eastpointe Police & Court Facility.

Our team and trade partners have been forming, tying, and pouring the column footings and pier foundations that will carry the 44,000+ SF building. Each footing gets a tied rebar mat, vertical dowels set for the piers above, and anchor bolts placed to tight tolerances before the pour, so the steel lands right when it arrives.

When it's complete, this facility will bring Eastpointe's police and court operations together under one roof in a modern, secure building built for the way the city works today.

Tilt-up or precast? The right answer depends on the site, the schedule, and the zip code.

Tilt-up: cast right on the building slab, then tilted into place by crane. With no trucking, panels can be massive, and costs stay low on big footprints.

Precast: cast in a plant, trucked in, and set. You get factory quality, and casting isn't held up by the weather.

So why does geography matter? Tilt-up means pouring and curing concrete outdoors. In warm climates like Florida, Texas, and the Carolinas, you can do that nearly year-round, and tilt-up becomes the default for big-box retail and industrial work.

In Michigan, cold weather shortens the pour season. Casting panels indoors at a plant keeps the project moving, which is why precast is often the smarter call up north.

Construction continues to take shape at Icon Park in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

C.E. Gleeson Constructors is bringing this ground-up multifamily development to life at Mound and 14 Mile Roads. The project includes five four-story, wood-framed buildings totaling approximately 161,000 square feet and 190 residential units.

Beyond the residential buildings, the 5.6-acre development includes extensive site work and resident amenities, including a clubhouse, pickleball court, dog park, playground, walking areas, and landscaped outdoor spaces.

These latest aerials show strong progress across the site as building exteriors, site infrastructure, and surrounding improvements continue to move forward.

C.E. Gleeson Constructors was honored to receive two awards at the 2026 RE Journals Michigan Real Estate Awards.

Marian High School Science & Art Wings was recognized as Education Project of the Year. Congratulations to Dave Tremonti, James Hayes, Josh Boers, Tony Cavalieri, and everyone who helped bring the project to life. We also want to thank Marian High School and OX Studio for their partnership throughout the project.

Bottom Creek Brewery, Restaurant and Event Space received Restaurant / Retail / Entertainment Project of the Year. Congratulations to Brad Baker, Hannah Tache, Matt Baglio, and all of the team members who contributed to the project along the way.

We were also proud to be nominated for Contractor of the Year, with Brad Baker nominated for Executive of the Year and Charles Gleeson III nominated for Emerging Leader of the Year.

These awards reflect the work of our project teams and the strong relationships we continue to build with clients, architects, subcontractors, and project partners.

Featured in CAM Magazine's September issue: Bottom Creek Resort in North Branch, MI 🍺

A 461-acre family property in Michigan's Thumb, now home to a craft brewery, full-service restaurant, and open-air pavilion. C.E. Gleeson Constructors served as construction manager.

Exposed timber trusses. A tasting room overlooking the production floor. White oak harvested right from the property, milled into columns, casework, and shelving. A hammered copper tap wall and stone fireplace in the restaurant.

Another Floor & Decor completed by C.E. Gleeson Constructors.

Our team recently completed the new 65,450-square-foot Floor & Decor in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, adding to Gleeson’s resume of 20+ Floor & Decor projects nationwide.

This ground-up retail project included full site development, underground utilities, grading, paving, sidewalks, site lighting, a 219-stall parking field, precast concrete panels, structural steel, wood trusses, storefront systems, dock equipment, polished concrete, high-piled storage, racking, fire protection, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, data, security, and store fixture infrastructure.

As students return to the classroom, we’re highlighting C.E. Gleeson Constructors’ experience delivering educational facilities built for learning, collaboration, and long-term use.

Our educational portfolio includes Walbridge Elementary School in Toledo, a 45,000-square-foot, two-story school featuring an open courtyard and a bridge connecting its north and south wings.

At Brother Rice High School, our work has included renovations and additions to the Academic Resource Center, athletic facilities, science wing, and the Gleeson Family Courtyard.

At Marian High School, Gleeson completed a major renovation of five science classrooms, a modernized computer lab, centralized pottery, design, and art classrooms, and refreshed corridors throughout the school.

Our education experience also includes work at the Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac, a K-12 learning environment focused on academics, technology, creativity, and hands-on education.

C.E. Gleeson Constructors is proud to have helped bring this new four-season destination to life in downtown Howell. Centered around an all-purpose pavilion with a winter ice rink, the project also includes a playable water feature, fire features, revamped Summit Gardens, concessions, skate rental, lockers, restrooms, pergola seating, and public gathering areas.

Located near the Historic Depot Museum between Walnut Street and Michigan Avenue, Fire & Ice was built to give Howell a true year-round community anchor, a place for skating in the winter, events in the summer, and downtown activity in every season.

Proud to be part of a project that will serve residents, visitors, and local businesses for years to come.
