Office Administrator
Pay:
$20-22 an hour DOE
Job Duties:
-Frequent interfacing over the phone with customers. You will be explaining how our systems operate, troubleshooting problems and answering questions to help customers feel comfortable with and understand our systems.
- Assist in organizing work for the teams throughout the day. You will be utilizing our company’s online application, basecamp, to enter customer and job information for the team.
-Strong familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus. QuickBooks will be used to create invoices, estimates, complete payroll and enter expenses.
-This position does have the option of working remotely.
Work Hours and Season
M-F 8:30-5
April 15th- November 30th
What would make a great office administrator:
You will be the first contact for our customers and must be comfortable spending a fair amount of time on the phone. Being personable, friendly and patient is essential. Having a passion for the outdoors and wildlife is a plus. As we do not have a physical office you must be able to be accountable, reliable, juggle multiple tasks and be able to manage yourself. Having a basic understanding of the local Tahoe/Truckee neighborhoods is a plus. Previous customer service experience, familiarity with QuickBooks and office experience is preferred.
Lead Technician
Pay:
$25-30 an hour DOE
Work season April 15th-the snow shuts us down in December
Job Duties:
-Installing electric fence systems on homes
-Lead a 2-3 person crew on installations
-Interfacing with customers
-Managing time on projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
-Entering job notes into company’s online application
-The ability to work without direct supervision
What would make a great lead technician:
A strong candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, previous leadership experience, the ability to train new employees and work through conflict with team members. There is no direct supervision over this position, a great employee will display self-initiative and accountability. Must be able to manage the time of your team on projects, bring the best out of employees and keep them productive throughout the day. This type of construction is very specialized and we will offer all the training on how to build our systems. However, previous construction experience is essential, and you should be capable of using power drills and hand tools. We work in tight places, under homes and decks and you must be comfortable with this part of the job. You will be driving a company vehicle and it is necessary to have a clean driving record.
General Laborer
Pay:
$17-20 an hour DOE

Job Duties:

-Assisting lead technician in installations
-Interfacing with customers
-Managing time on projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
-Ensuring work vehicles are properly stocked and organized
-Cleaning up job sites once work is completed.
-The ability to work without direct supervision at times
What would make a great General Laborer:
A strong candidate for this position will have the ability to listen and learn from others, will work well as a team and will be self-motivated. Our systems we install are very specialized and we will provide all the training, however, having basic construction experience and knowledge of proper use of power drills and hand tools is a benefit. It may be required that you drive a company vehicle at times and it is necessary that you have a clean driving record. Being presentable and respectful when clients are around is a must. We work in tight spots under homes and decks often and you would be comfortable doing this type of work.
