*UPDATE: March, 2025, Principle, Stephen Harper inks Deal for OCCM to Manage the Complete Facade Restoration for the Ice House Condominium’s Building (former Consolidated Weir Company Cold Storage Plant) located at 501 Commercial Street in Provincetown, Massachusetts! The building is 5 stories in height and consists of 24 units with an attached annex building. Records found indicate an original building construction date of about 1907.

This 5 million plus restoration project started 6 weeks ago, consists of installation of a complete new facade system for this 5 story high, 24 unit project. Work consists of first, er****on of a complete five story high scaffolding system done in phases, removal and replacement of all exterior wall, window and door systems including removal of the existing plaster & brick facade backed by a metal stud wall system. OCCM will then complete extensive structural repairs of the buildings exterior structural concrete column & spandrel beam support systems. Once this phase is complete, we will install a new heavy gauge metal stud wall system that will include an attached Densglass and Prosoco AVB system to keep moisture from penetrating the new walls. A New “Rain Screen System” will then be installed which consists of a Cascadia Clip & Rail system with mineral wool insulation. The final finish system will be comprised of a heavy cement board substrate & trims for the Artisan’s that will applying a Sto Gold Coat Colored Plaster System that will be the portion of the facade that everyone will see. All windows and doors will be replaced with A-Series, Anderson’s made of Fibrex composite with StormWatch Technology and Low E-4 Smart Sun, Impact Resistant Glazing to take the punishment of the building being located directly on the ocean. The project will be completed in several phases and is expected to last 10 -12 months.

Thank You Letter received for work OCCM did for a special client of ours from Sandwich in early March. Weather was an issue but we all worked together to insure Becky & Bobs foundation was ready to go the day their new pre-manufactured home arrived so there were no delays in setting it. Congratulations and Thank You again for the kind words!
