A reminder during this cold snap: when using space heaters, ensure they are placed away from combustible materials. Additionally, use extension cords only if properly sized, with a minimum of 14-gauge wire, as lamp cord-style cords can be hazardous and prone to overheating due to being undersized.

Also if you lose power, dont back feed generators without shutting off your main or it will create hazard to linemen and can damage your equipment..

We highly recommend getting a generator inlet receptacle and pairing it with an interlock kit to prevent accidentally forgetting...
