So I am watching GMA and they are advising people to be careful when purchasing things or hiring people to do work - buyer beware! This is so true and when I read posts about people saying bids are too high or you can hire me but I’m not licensed- remember, you get what you pay for. Someone posted yesterday that a company in town might be basing their bids based on a customer being a single woman and taking advantage of her! Let me tell you , I am a single woman and I own a business and I would never do that and I never base my bids on that!!! I will leave it at that. I want to give some advice to people out there when they are looking to hire people to do work: do your homework- do they really have a license to do the work you are hiring them for? Not just a license? It doesn’t cover you for everything that you think! Do they have insurance? If something happens to the work, are you covered? That’s important! Are they bonded to come into your home? Plumbers need plumbers licenses, HVAC techs need refrigeration licenses! It’s very simple!!! Not everyone does!!! Just because they say they do….well….
And just because they say they can put it in , what happens when it doesn’t work? Are you gonna call them? Nope! Who ya gonna call??? Well anyway, peace out! Have a great day
