Some people look at this picture and see money sitting in a lineup…

We see something very different.

We see where it all started — one machine, one opportunity, one decision to take a shot and build something of our own. What stands here now with 9 directional drills of all sizes isn’t luck, and it sure as hell isn’t overnight success.

It’s years of early mornings, long nights, breakdowns, stress, risk, reinvesting everything back into the business, and believing in something when it was still small. It’s the jobs that didn’t go as planned, the lessons learned the hard way, and the commitment to keep pushing forward no matter what.

Every one of these machines tells a part of that story.

Nobody gives a damn about the water department… until the second nothing comes out of the faucet.

Then all of a sudden it’s an emergency.

Places like Truxton where we reside and grew up, were never big enough to even have a system.

Most people living in any town across the USA couldn’t tell you the first thing about what it takes to keep water moving — because they’ve never had to.

Out of sight, out of mind… until it isn’t.

My Grandpa told me when I was 13 after I snapped my arm rolling a four-wheeler in the middle of summer:
**“You never know how much you use the well till it’s dry.”**

Didn’t take long to figure that one out.

Same thing applies the day your sink, toilet, and shower all go dead. That’s when reality shows up.

We were at Homer Central School today working alongside the Homer Water Department — Directional Drilling under the road, tying back into a leaking service/main for the school.

Yeah, we did our job.

But those guys?
They’re in a trench, soaked, covered in mud, getting it done the hard way — and doing everything they can to NOT hand the whole job over to contractors, just to save taxpayers a buck.

No spotlight. No praise. Just work.

Same deal with Cortlandville, Dryden and many more across the USA (yes we have worked with many across the country)— Absolute grinders in those departments.

Most people will never see it.
They’ll just turn the handle and expect water.

But when it doesn’t come…
these are the guys you’re counting on.

And I’ll say it straight — they’re worth their soaking wet weight in gold.

We’re just lucky enough at Bonsbak Inc. to be in the trenches with them once in a while and see what it really takes.

🇺🇸 **We Remember 9/11** 🇺🇸

At **Bonsbak Inc**, we remember the day our country was attacked. September 11th, 2001 is forever etched in our hearts and minds.

We remember the towers burning.
We remember the fear and heartbreak.
We remember the thousands of innocent lives lost.

We share images of that day not because we are sick or twisted, but because it is a reminder of what it truly was—**a terrible attack on us, the American people, on our own soil.**

In the aftermath, for a short time, we were all united. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers became brothers and sisters. Our flag flew high, and we stood together as one nation.

Today, 24 years later, we remember, we honor, and we will never forget.

💧🏠 **Water in Your Basement? Believe it or Not… That’s Good News!**

Sounds crazy, right? But here’s the deal:
If you see water in your basement, that’s your foundation *sending a warning*—your perimeter water mitigation isn’t doing its job.

👉 Sealing the inside wall is **never the answer.**
Basements are built from concrete block or poured foundations—and concrete is porous. With enough pressure, water always finds its way through. Seal the inside, and you just trap water outside, building up **horizontal pressure**.

🚨 The problem? Walls are designed to handle vertical pressure, not sideways force. That pressure buildup can push your walls in and create serious structural damage much faster than water seepage ever would.

✅ The real fix is from the outside.
Here in NY, we’ve got elevation changes everywhere—so don’t get sold on sump pumps if you’ve got slope to work with. Even a slight drop in grade can be used to redirect and relieve water safely away from your foundation when it’s done right.

So if you see water in your basement, don’t panic—**fix the cause, not the symptom.**
Save your foundation, extend the life of your home, and protect its value.

Two General Contractors found themselves in a bit of a *“well, now what?”* moment on the shores of beautiful Great Cayuga Lake. Houses were built, but buried in the fine print of the contract — it was *their* job to get the utilities in.

Who do you call when the clock’s ticking and you need it done right?

We showed up, fired up the drills, and went to work:

🚜 **JAN THE SUPER KIND MAN – ROUND 2!** 💪

🌧️ **THE CALL**
Not that it’s been raining forever this year or anything… but Jan rang us up with another water problem. We’ve been here before — back in 2015 we fixed his basement the *right* way with a new footer drain.

🛠️ **THE PLAN**
Cut out the blacktop, install channel drains, re-slope the driveway to send water far away. No halfway fixes here.

🚧 **THE SURPRISE**
We were going to pull out his old culvert and re set it so he didn't hit a jump pulling in no more but it was ancient history. So, we installed a **brand-new culvert**, extended his property, and gave him more space exactly the way he wanted it.

🌳 **THE OBSTACLE**
A tree blocking the view of his new man garage. Solution? Gone.

🛞 **THE BIG FIX**
Ripped out 300 ft of old driveway built on the wrong material with zero water control. Regraded everything so when the new asphalt comes, it’s done **right** — no excuses, no shortcuts.

✅ **THE RESULT**
Water problem solved. Driveway ready for the future. Property looking better than ever. And a *very* happy Jan the Super Kind Man.
