Main Water Line Repair including Pressure Regulator Valve. When valve is installed this way a box should be installed for access and service. Installing PRV right after meter is the best option in our opinion, although most pipes are now rated to handle higher pressures it still serves as a best location. High Water Pressure or Low water pressure can be due to a bad pressure regulator valve (PRV). If you notice your water pressure drops when you run a second fixture or if you hear water hammering in the walls when running your water it can be a sign of a failed PRV. Your PRV is typically located in the exterior at the main water service. Give us a call to schedule a appointment if you are experiencing low/high water pressure.

Main Water Line Replacement. There are several areas in Tucson, Vail, Rita Ranch, Corona de Tucson that have polybutylene or what we call black ranch pipe as a main water line. Unfortunately these types of pipes have been banned and repair fittings are not made for them. Although repairs can be made with alternative fittings, replacement is always recommended. Our replacement include a two year warranty on parts and labor, the piping we use Carrie’s a 25 year warranty through manufacture.
