Did you know….the principal of Novak Environmental, Inc., Karen Cesare, was one of the contributing designers to this space? The design came from inspiration from Soley Snyder Belt who was working for NE, Inc at the time. The design was done through a collaboration with several women landscape architects in Tucson.

Happy International Women's Day! The Women's Plaza of Honor publicly and permanently celebrates women who have made significant contributions to the history of Arizona or whose lives have otherwise enriched the lives of others.

Its unique design of plants, lighting and water intermingles with archways, benches and sculptural elements to represent the stages of a woman's life.

To commemorate this year’s Earth Day we’d like to introduce you to Gertrude - our new drone! Gertrude will help us with better, up to the minute, aerial photos of project sites that can be used for environmental monitoring, base plan development, existing conditions documentation and so much more! Novak Environmental, Inc. provided landscape architectural services for the location on Houghton and Old Vail Road in Houghton Town Center (HTC). Landscape design needed to comply with City of Tucson codes as well as the special design guidelines of HTC.

Novak Environmental, Inc. is the landscape architect for this very cool project! We provided Native Plant Preservation Plans, Riparian Mitigation Plans, Landscape and Irrigation Plans and Water Harvesting Plans. It was great to work with the entire team! Can’t wait to see the finished building!
