Why is throat seal oil (TSO) important in a paint sprayer?

It’s important because, it lubricates the piston rod and upper packings, reduces friction and wear, and extends the life of the fluid section.

What happens if you don’t use it?

The upper packings can dry out and wear much faster. Dried paint can also accumulate around the piston rod, which can damage the packings and eventually lead to fluid leaking out the pump.

🔧 Monday Contactor Tip

Before you start your pressure washer, always check the oil!

Running low on engine or pump oil can cause serious damage. Take 30 seconds before the job to check your levels and make sure everything is ready to work.
