There’s something special about returning to a home you built a few years ago.

We originally had the opportunity to build this home from the ground up, and now we’re honored to be back helping transform it for its new owners. This isn’t just a remodel—it’s a complete reimagining. From a substantial addition to a full interior revamp and extensive exterior updates, every detail is being thoughtfully crafted to reflect a new vision and lifestyle.

One of the things we enjoy most is taking a well-built home and elevating it into something entirely new while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship it was founded on. It’s been an incredible project to watch unfold.

The weather has finally given us the break we needed, and the exterior paint is underway. Now it’s time to put our heads down, keep the momentum rolling, and bring this transformation to completion.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but that’s because we’ve been busy doing what we love most—putting in the work out in the field. 💪🏼🏡

One of our recent projects involved giving this lake house staircase a complete makeover. We demoed the old staircase leading down to the dock and rebuilt it with a new straight-shot layout to create more consistent, comfortable, and safer stair spacing from top to bottom.

We removed the aging wood materials and replaced them with beautiful, low-maintenance composite decking products that will stand up to the elements for years to come. The custom steel railing system is currently being fabricated, and once that’s installed and we give everything a much-needed power wash, this project is going to be something special.

We’ve been a little quiet on this one, but that’s only because we’ve been busy making progress.

This stunning lake home is situated on a beautiful flat waterfront lot and is already taking shape. From the spacious detached garage and incredible roofline to the seamless blend of brick and Hardie siding, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a truly custom home.

The gorgeous lake views, inviting front entry, and combination of standing seam metal roofing with architectural shingles are going to make this one something special. We love bringing unique visions to life, and this home is shaping up to be a perfect example of quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and attention to detail.

This black beauty just keeps on rocking and rolling! 🏡🔥

Drywall is officially hung, finished, and sanded out. We’re now ready for paint, interior trim, and doors as we continue pushing this project forward right on schedule.

The weather has been cooperating, our crews have been staying productive, and the homeowners are getting more excited with every step. It’s always rewarding to see a vision come to life when everyone is working toward the same goal.

The transformation on this lakefront home is really starting to turn heads! The fresh black exterior paint looks incredible, and the stonework and house color complement each other perfectly. One of our favorite features is the flat lot—offering both beauty and functionality right on the water.

Garage doors will be installed soon, and we’re continuing to make great progress every day. Around here, it’s always grind season. Rain or shine, our crew stays focused on delivering quality craftsmanship and keeping projects moving forward.

Another beautiful bathroom transformation in the books for Twin Cedars Construction!

This remodel got a gorgeous facelift featuring stunning new tile, a custom shower, updated champagne bronze trim and hardware, lighted mirrors, and a beautiful freestanding tub with matching tub filler to tie everything together perfectly. The homeowner did an amazing job selecting finishes that created such a clean, elegant flow throughout the space.

While we’re best known for large renovations, additions, and new construction projects, we always enjoy taking on a beautiful bathroom remodel or smaller project that completely refreshes a home and brings new life to a space.
