When designing Joe’s home we decided faux beams and porch trusses wouldn’t do this home justice. Joe opted to have us do timber framing. This was our first time tackling a true post and beam structure . It’s pretty awesome knowing that the entire thing is held together by 1” oak dowels. Today we set the front arched beam truss with a hammer post. Photos don’t do these Timbers any justice. They are 10x10 posts with 10x14 beams. Very proud of all the guys on my team! Thankful I get to work with such an amazing group of young hardworking men. Now to install the rafters and build the back deck roof.

Well I’ve been way behind on posting anything but I figured it was time to try to catch everyone up to speed. Last year we built this custom home for the Jerome’s. What an amazing family to work for! Everything from the black siding to the cedar accents, and the custom wood ceilings the place came together perfect. I had promised them I would get them in by Christmas, and we kept that promise. We got them in just in time on December 20th. This was only possible because of the hardworking, dedicated team I have. There was many days of being there from 7 am to 10 pm to make it happen. I’m grateful for what we get to do. I hope the Jerome’s enjoy many more great Christmas’ in their new home!
