Yesterday we had the opportunity to walk the historic Greenwood project and present our preservation approach to representatives from the National Park Service (NPS) visiting from Washington, D.C.

We are honored to be part of such an important project. A special thank you to Greenwood for trusting us and allowing us to be part of preserving this incredible piece of Tulsa’s history.

And a huge thank you to our entire Brothers Masonry team for the hard work and dedication that make opportunities like this possible. 🙏🏽

Shout out to the city of Tulsa for having some awesome trained to go workers! With everything going on in the world, it’s easy to believe we’re more divided than ever. Today reminded me that that’s not the whole story.

I got a flat tire on Highway 51 in the middle of a construction zone with a heavy workload on my truck. It was a one-way road with nowhere to pull over and no exits. I had left my jack in my other truck, so all I could do was keep moving slowly.

A city construction crew stopped what they were doing, came over from the construction side, stopped traffic, brought the right equipment, and helped me get back on the road.

Looking around, I saw people from different backgrounds working side by side. No one cared where I came from. They simply saw someone who needed help.

Kindness will always be louder than division.

To everyone who helped me today, thank you, you’re all amazing people. You reminded me that good people are still everywhere. 🙌🏽
