So you may have noticed that I have not been updating the Route 66 Surveying page. September 1st, 2020 we purchased Whiye Surveying Company and look forward to continuing an 80 year company into the future. Definitely discombobulated this morning. Forgot to shave before jumping in the shower. Then forgot to empty yesterday’s leftovers in the pot before brewing today’s coffee. Are you sure it’s not Monday somewhere??

It’s really important to be aware of your surroundings when you start cutting on trees. Never know what might drop in for a visit. Or a sting.

Found this stone today. Sustained some damage trying to get to it. Needed this corner though so it was worth it.

Yesterday morning this was a cable to power our gps equipment. By the afternoon someone’s dog roaming the field Conner was working in had destroyed it. Missing completely are two good sized alligator clips that attach to the deep cycle battery we use for power. My $275 for a new cable may be cheaper than their vet bill if the dog swallowed them.
