❄️ “It’s just a little frost.”

Until it isn’t.

Ice buildup inside refrigeration systems is usually a sign that something else is going on behind the scenes. Airflow issues, defrost problems, humidity infiltration, or system inefficiencies can all start showing up as temperatures and humidity rise during the summer.

What seems minor today can quickly turn into bigger operational problems once your system is working overtime in the heat.

If your refrigeration equipment is already showing signs of excessive frost or ice buildup, now may be the time to have it looked at before peak cooling season hits.

Plot twist: the rental generator we usually send out to save everyone else’s day… ended up saving ours. 😂⚡

Tulsa office lost power, but luckily we know a company with reliable emergency power solutions and excellent response times.

Additional perks of working at Oklahoma Chiller to add to our job descriptions:

Jacob from our Rental Systems Team walks through some of the upgrades we made while refurbishing this 100-ton chiller for our rental fleet.

☀️ Summer is coming... and if your refrigeration system is already struggling to keep up, the heat is only going to make it worse.

If your system is taking longer than normal to reach or maintain temperature, that can be an early warning sign that something isn’t operating efficiently.

Dirty coils, airflow restrictions, refrigerant issues, and aging components have a way of showing themselves once Oklahoma summer temperatures hit full force.

The good news?
These issues can often be caught early before they turn into downtime during peak demand.

If your facility has noticed longer pull-down times lately, now may be a good time to have the system checked before summer really ramps up.

Historic Route 66 🤝 Oklahoma Chiller graffiti artists

After handling business on the road, these two made a quick stop to leave a little Oklahoma Chiller mark on Route 66 history during the Centennial celebration.

Some people bring back souvenirs.
Some people apparently bring back spray paint memories. 👀

Most people will never see what it takes to get a 1,500 ton chiller into place…

This one had to go 30 feet below ground into a mechanical room.

Tight access. Zero room for error.
And a whole lot of coordination to get it done right.

Shoutout to the facility team and all the contractors involved. This was a true team effort.

60 seconds doesn’t show everything… but it gives you a glimpse.
