We are excited to share a recently completed project in Coweta Oklahoma that we loved!
This project included landscape design and installation, Tahoma 31 Bermuda grass installation, and the creation of a decomposed granite pathway.
But beyond the obvious aesthetics of the garden space, there were two major issues the homeowners needed addressed.
There was a severe lack of drainage causing water to set against the house, and the deep shade from the mature trees made grass and plant growth difficult to nonexistent in places.
To combat the drainage issues, we started with grading and then added in surface drains, french drains, and a sump pit/pump.
Once drainage was addressed we could go in and prep the ground for plants and grass with the goal to work with the shade instead of against it. To do this we added soil in key places, aerated the compacted ground, and then installed shade-loving plants and Tahoma 31 grass installation areas that received enough sunlight.
