19 years ago this evening, Kaleb and I said “I do”💍

Those who know our story, the girl who swore she’d never marry a boy from the mountain, and a crazy mountain boy, set on being a wildland firefighter, which he did right out of high school for the next 17 years, best of friends, and what better way to start a marriage off than a deep friendship…
Neither one of us had Oklahoma on our radar in the different out of state moves that we did. But we can’t imagine home anywhere else now.
Never imagined Kaleb leaving fire. It was his passion. But truly, his passion is caring for others. Strong leadership. Seeing a dangerous job done safely. What a blessing that was to carry that over to Heartwood Tree Service.

So today I say happy 19 years to my best friend and husband, and the vision he shares for this company.

Starting off the week right with a low impact removal to keep the hardscaping intact! Flawless cleanup, stump ground, chips hauled, topsoil added and ready for replanting!

Today's job was an elm tree surrounded by power lines (service drops) that needed to be removed. We scheduled a line drop with PSO before removing the tree, allowing us to work safely and give the homeowners peace of mind that the job would be done right and with no damages to their property.
If you’re needing a tree trimmed or removed that is close to or in contact with electrical lines please use a company that is properly trained in working around electrical hazards. It could save a life.

We sure are even if it meant a late morning start.

We still squeezed in 2 removals and 3 trims today.
