Demo By Dustin is for sale. After 12 great years we have made the decision to move in a different direction in a different area. We would like to thank everyone that has been a part of the process over the years. We are currently still renting dumpsters and doing demolition work with the excavators. Currently we do not have anyone to recommend for interior demo work but we are looking. We are looking for demolition team members, preferably with construction and or interior demolition experience. Work consists mostly of residential interior controlled demolition.
For interior work: safety, protection of everything that is not being removed and a professional courteous attitude are of utmost priority. You will be expected to set up dust protection, carefully demo planned area, carry all demolition materials to dumpster, vacuum clean all job sites at end of day. Team members must be able to carry trash cans and demolition material up to 50 lb for 8 hours per day wearing a respirator or a mask.
Reliable transportation is required as you will drive to the different jobs each day. We work in all of Northeast Pa, most of our work is within 30 min of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre but we do go further.
This job is on the books, we do not pay cash.
We also do junk removal and clean out jobs. Experience is preferred and pay will reflect experience starting at $20/hr. Immediate start available.

Demolition: any structure 3 story and under
Interior Demolition: from 1 wall to a full gut

This addition to the grist mill in Dalton, PA was added around 1910 to accommodate the steam boiler that was used to power the Mill. Before the boiler was added power was supplied by a dam pond on the nearby Ackerly Creek. We are trying to save as much of the building as possible but some areas are too far gone. After over one hundred years standing we had to take down the addition unearthing the massive brick and concrete base for the boiler. (We are trying to gather as many pictures and information about the building as we can. Feel free to comment or send us messages.)
