🌍 Promoting the Future of Land Surveying—and Women in STEM! 🗺️
From July 11–15 in Long Beach, CA, MBI’s California Survey practice proudly partnered with , , and to represent the land surveying profession at the American School Counselor Association’s annual Navigate and Innovate conference. https://www.schoolcounselor.org/
We had the opportunity to speak with elementary and high school counselors about the many career paths in land surveying—a profession that combines science, technology, and geography to define property boundaries and support critical infrastructure. With a growing need for new talent, it’s more important than ever to raise awareness.
As one of the few women in this field, I (Connie Barrett) am especially passionate about being a visible role model and encouraging young women to explore careers in STEM and land surveying. Representation matters—and we’re here to help shape a more inclusive future for this essential profession.
