Anyone need a last minute Father’s Day gift?!? This fire hose bench is done and available… first come first serve.
$225 and it’s yours! The seat is 40”x20” and it stands 20” tall.
If you aren’t fast enough but would like me to make one for you, I have PLENTY of old hose left and can customize it to whatever dimensions you want!!!

Here it is in all its glory!!! This project was a blast. So honestly this took very little woodworking “skill”… all the beauty came from the material.
This backboard was salvaged out of one of our old storage containers, destined for the trash, but I was able to turn it into a pretty memorable retirement gift, for a pretty memorable guy!
You’ve gotta scroll to capture all the little details… the remnants of “Tuttle EMS” that was etched into it, and the “Property of the Town of Tuttle” sticker are my favorite.
Hopefully this Thin White Line flag will be a reminder of the good times and can be a spark to many stories for Ray & his family in the future!

Unfortunately the Oklahoma wind limited how much I was able to get done this weekend (it’s hard to wrestle plywood in a 40mph wind)… but I was able to get a couple small projects knocked out. This one was one of those “just for fun” kind of projects. We cleaned out some old storage containers at our station and came across a couple old wooden backboards. After some intense cleaning & sanding, this one will hopefully make a nice decorative piece somewhere in the station! The 2nd one was made into a surprise retirement gift that will be posted a little later 🤫
