Some people don’t need a miracle.
They need a **ramp**.

BigRed’s passion has always been simple:
**help people stay in their homes as long as possible.**
Not facilities. Not forced moves. Home.

But here’s the hard truth—
construction costs are expensive, and for many families, even the *smallest* upgrades are completely out of reach. A simple handicap ramp can be the difference between independence and isolation… and it costs about **$3,500 in materials alone**.

Through **Meemaws**, the nonprofit we founded, we run a **Pay What You Can construction program**. That means no one is turned away because of money. It also means we rely on the generosity of others to cover what our neighbors can’t.

There are seniors stuck inside their homes right now.
Parents carrying wheelchairs up steps.
Veterans choosing pain over asking for help.

BigRed shows up with his hands, his skills, and his heart.
But we need help covering the materials so the work can actually happen.

For 4 years, I ran a **successful small construction business** here in Oregon.
In 2024, I stepped back — not because I lost the passion, but because my family needed me. I spent the year helping my wife run her restaurant, supporting the mission we were building together.

But construction has always been my calling.
**Building things. Fixing what’s broken. Helping people feel safe in their homes.**

So now, I’m doing something that brings *both* my passions together.

I’m reinstating my **Oregon contractor’s license** and launching a **Pay What You Can construction company**.

This isn’t about cutting corners — it’s about **meeting people where they are**, restoring dignity, and making essential repairs accessible to those who don’t have many options.

If you can pay full price, you help cover someone who can’t.
If you can only cover materials, we’ll work with that.
If you’re stuck and don’t know where to turn — we’ll talk.

This is construction with heart.
