In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed so our team can spend time with their families and enjoy the holiday weekend. We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we reflect on the true reason for this day.

It’s SAFETY Thursday over here at OKIE! With the rain coming in and summer around the corner we’re touching on Heat injuries and illnesses! At OKIE, Safety is priority number ONE! With our heavy schedules, long days and quick turnarounds it’s important that not only we turn out a perfect product, but turn it out safely as well!

This fine Monday morning, Cody and I from Renovate Stillwater sat down with Jay on Cowboy Country 105.5 for some great conversation, a few laughs, and a little real talk about the week ahead.

With heavy chances of rain rolling into Oklahoma this week, we talked about how weather can impact both our customers and us as a plumbing company. But at the end of the day, communication, teamwork, and understanding are what keep projects moving forward and help everyone reach their shared goals.

Cody shared more about what’s happening with Renovate Stillwater and mentioned they are currently looking for a hard-working, self-reliant painter with 3–5 years of experience to join their team.

As always, we emphasized the importance of collaboration and how strong partnerships continue to be one of the biggest keys to success. We also want to give a big shoutout to Clayton Beaver and the Okie HVAC team for kicking off a large project at the Newkirk Casino alongside SC Builders.

Most importantly, we want to thank this community for continuing to trust us and allowing us the opportunity to meet — and exceed — your plumbing needs every single day.

The future continues to look bright for the collaborations that make up The OKIE Standard. 💯

Good morning, Stillwater!

We are proud to introduce Dwayne with Cosmopolitan Construction as our Collaboration of the Week. Dwayne is not only a highly respected professional and business owner, but also a valued friend of The Okie Standard.

This morning, Dwayne shared a little about his journey, how he got started, and gave some insight into exciting future projects as we continue collaborating to provide The Standard throughout the Oklahoma City and Stillwater areas.

One of the biggest points we drove home today was the importance of strong communication and teamwork. When great people come together with a shared vision and work ethic, great things happen. The future is looking bright for the collaboration between The Okie Standard and Cosmopolitan Construction.

From everyone at The Okie Standard, we would also like to wish all the moms out there a very Happy Mother’s Day!

It was a great morning filled with great people, great conversation, and great energy. 💯

A very special guest will join us on air on 105.5 around 7:50am! DeWayne Walker with Cosmopolitan Construction himself will be joining us on Cowboy Country 105.5 at 7:50am on Monday, May 11th!
During this special spot we will speak about each-other and what it means to team up with likeminded individuals on common goals and projects. The difference Cosmopolitan Construction brings to the table, strictly from our experience in a market saturated like OKC!
Over the next few weeks, we will show our community exactly what we mean by collaborations , working together and teaming up with like minded individuals trying to achieve the impossible: Making everyone happy!😂😂😂😂

The name fits, because this man works hours on end and never slows down. Your dedication, loyalty, and work ethic don’t go unnoticed. You show up, put in the time, and still find a way to teach and help those around you grow.

We’re grateful for the example you set every day and the knowledge you pass on. Hope today gives you a chance to kick back (at least a little) — you’ve earned it.

We at Okie were proud to hit the airwaves this morning on Cowboy Country 105.5 alongside our friends at Humble Hustle Clothing Co..

Joining us were Julia, Jason Kranz, and myself as we talked about what truly drives small businesses forward—collaboration, connection, and showing up face-to-face for the people we serve.

Julia shared the story behind Humble Hustle’s beginnings, gave a look at their newest products, and let the Stillwater community know exactly where to find them online. Even more exciting—her family is taking the next big step with a brick-and-mortar location right here in Stillwater. Big things happening 🔥

We also highlighted what collaboration looks like when it matters most. This past weekend, a local hotel experienced a major flood—but thanks to our partners Absolute Clean & Restore and Winsupply of Stillwater, we came together and got it handled. By 6 AM, water was fully restored—meaning guests woke up to hot showers and working facilities like nothing ever happened.

That’s what it means to deliver The Okie Standard. 💯

We want to give a huge shoutout to the partners who show up when it counts—and to the Stillwater community for trusting us to serve you.
