At Mortal King's Printing, when we say we have the ability to scan items, or even better, YOU!, into our 3D Modeling programs, we are referring to some professional technology used by a variety of fields, from state-of-the-art engineers to medical professionals.

The EINSTAR- Shining 3D Scanner has been a versatile piece of equipment. Not only has it helped us create missing parts for various items around the house, but more so has been used to scan in full body models and busts of friends and loved ones. Utilized for everything from life-size decor, to fancy wedding cake toppers with the actual bride and groom, and of course the highest quality detailed minifigs for use in TTRPGS! The skin-textures are also high enough quality to be used in 3D Animations if in the field and so interested.

Here at Mortal King's Printing, our favorite aspects of the new Snapmaker U1 definitely include the built in camera for these awesome time lapses, minimal waste and purging compared to other printers, and the ease of customizing the colors being printed in the software.
