𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. ❤️

We created this film to honor Linda Lopez, but really, it became about something bigger: inspiring our community to take care of each other.

This year, we teamed up with Kihle Roofing, A Clean Slate, Darsi Olson LMT Heart to Hands Massage Therapy, Durango Fix and Finish LLC, Kelly Miranda Photography, and Films by Daniel to care for 2 very special moms in our community and document the project.

One recipient had just completed cancer treatment and is now navigating life as a newly single mom to two young children.
Our second recipient experienced unimaginable loss after losing her son, husband, and brother all within a 3 month period.

Together, our team provided:
• Roof leak repair
• Minor home repair
• Window cleaning
• House cleaning
• W**d trimming
• Car wash
• Clean garden beds
• Light fixture installation
• Chair massage

TBK Bank also provided gift baskets, and Bank of Colorado donated materials costs, light fixtures, and screen wire to help make this possible.

This film captures the heart behind the project — neighbors helping neighbors, businesses giving back, and a community coming together to support moms carrying incredibly heavy seasons of life.

When you show up for moms you show up for everybody.

💐 Mother’s Day Project 2026 – Nominations Now Open 💐
On September 16, 2014, I lost my mom. That following Mother’s Day was the first one without her—and I didn’t want it to just be another hard day. I wanted it to mean something.
So we started something special.
With the help of amazing local businesses here in Durango, Squeegee Monkey Window Washing selected a few incredible mothers who could use a hand—and we showed up for them. We cleaned homes, washed windows, and did what we could to lighten their load and remind them they’re seen, valued, and appreciated.
We also made a video in honor of my mom… but really, it was about something bigger: inspiring our community to take care of each other.
💛 And now, in 2026—we’re bringing it back.
We’re looking for deserving mothers in the Durango area who could use a little extra support right now. Whether they’re going through a tough season, always putting others first, or just truly deserving of recognition—we want to hear their story.

We recently had a customer with a window that wouldn’t open or close properly. Turns out it was likely left open during a heavy wind event, which bent the hinges and operator arms. We got the right parts ordered, made the repair, and now it’s back to working like new.
Sometimes it’s not dirt—it’s damage. Either way, we’ve got you covered.

Now Hiring: Window Cleaner
📍 Squeegee Monkey Window Washing LLC – Durango, CO
🗓 Start Date: Between March 1st and March 15th
Pay & Growth
• $18/hr training wage (no experience needed)
• $20–$25/hr as skills develop (starting with no experience)
• $25–$29/hr with growth (6–12 months, or immediate placement with relevant experience)
• Option for 50% of health insurance premiums paid after 1 year
• Paid holidays: July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas
• Paid vacation after 1 year
Schedule
Full-Time | 30–40 hrs/week
• Must be available Monday–Friday | 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, motivated Window Cleaner to join our team. This is hands-on, active work with visible results every day. No experience is required—we provide full training—but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are a must. We are looking for the right vibe to add to our team.
Responsibilities
• Clean residential and commercial windows to company standards
• Complete work safely
• Work as part of a team to complete jobs on schedule
• Interact professionally with customers on-site
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment
What We’re Looking For
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Able to follow safety procedures and training
• Experience is a plus—but not required (training provided)
• Must have a valid, clean driver’s license
