For more than three decades, Vogel Bros. has been a committed partner and advocate for Wisconsin’s growing biohealth industry.

We’re proud to share that Peter Vogel, our President & CEO, will be honored with the Wisconsin Biohealth Business Achievement Award at the 2026 Wisconsin Biohealth Summit.

Throughout his career, Peter has been a strong advocate for the people, partnerships and ideas moving Wisconsin’s biohealth industry forward. As Lisa Johnson, CEO of BioForward Wisconsin, shared, his leadership has helped build the physical infrastructure and partnerships “that allow Wisconsin’s biohealth companies to innovate and grow.”

For those of us who have had the opportunity to work alongside Peter, it’s especially meaningful to see his decades of leadership and commitment recognized.

This month, team members from Vogel Bros. and Mead & Hunt came together to sort and pack thousands of school supplies for local students through School Supplies for Kids.

Founded by David Vogel in 1993, School Supplies for Kids serves students across Dane County each year, helping make sure students have the essential supplies they need to walk into the classroom ready to learn.

Ever wonder where your water goes after it goes down the drain?

These basins are part of the answer.

Across Florida, Vogel Bros. has built and improved biological treatment basins that help communities clean millions of gallons of wastewater every day. Inside, oxygen and naturally occurring microorganisms work together to break down waste and prepare the water for its next step—including further treatment as reclaimed water that can be safely reused for irrigation and other non-drinking purposes.

It’s a process most of us never see or think about, but it’s working behind the scenes every day to keep our communities clean, healthy and ready to grow.

We recently completed a rooftop terrace on Capitol Square in Madison with Urban Land Interests for Godfrey & Kahn, transforming an underutilized rooftop into a flexible tenant amenity in the heart of downtown.

Designed as an extension of the workplace, the terrace features flexible gathering space, lush greenery, and views of the Capitol. Bringing the space to life required careful planning and coordination from navigating limited downtown access and pedestrian traffic to lifting more than 14,000 pounds of pavers and planters to the rooftop by crane.

The project included four 800 pound planters, more than 13,500 pounds of pavers, and two green roof spaces with vibrant plantings. All completed on a fast-track schedule through close collaboration with ULI and Godfrey & Kahn.
Completed just in time for employees to enjoy Concerts on the Square, this project is another example of the continuous work our Madison team is proud to deliver alongside longtime clients and partners.

Healing doesn't stop at the therapy room door.

The Peggy Lindberg Agility Park at Oakwood Village was designed to extend rehabilitation into the outdoors. Combining fresh air, movement, and purposeful design to help residents rebuild strength, confidence, and independence.

Featuring six unique walking surfaces, gentle elevation changes, therapy-focused seating, and accessible pathways, every detail was created to support real-life recovery while providing a beautiful space the entire community can enjoy.

We're grateful to have partnered on a project that demonstrates how thoughtful design can positively impact everyday life.
