Polished Concrete is a great option for your garage, home, office etc. Color can be added to create a custom look and design.
It’s not as slippery as you might think. This is similiar to the big box store style floors, the floor still has that concrete texture, it’s still porous.
The sheen is created by mechanically grinding and polishing the concrete slab to a desired sheen level, a concrete densifier product is installed that hardens the surface of the concrete and a stain protector is applied. Being that the sheen comes from mechanically polishing the slab, it is not a system that delaminates like epoxy, paint etc
Looks great in a residential or commercial setting. Easy to maintain, easy to clean and it’s a very green environmentally friendly flooring option.
