Stones River Electric Premier Electrical, Lighting, and Energy Management Firm Privately held and family owned, we are proud of our rich heritage at Stones River Electric.
(1)

Founded by Jami Wilson Hall in 1990, her vision was to combine seasoned electrical construction expertise with full service design and project management capabilities. This approach of specialization in electrical and lighting management has a focus on energy conservation, with projects that include: quality lighting design, energy management systems and planned maintenance programs. Having worked

in her father’s electrical contracting firm, Ms. Hall is a second generation in the industry. Having meager beginnings, she used this entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the business, to grow Stones River Electric from two employees to a national service organization that has performed projects and service in the contiguous United States, Mexico and Canada. The third generation brings a new element of technical expertise and strategies. Having an advanced depth of knowledge in sustainability practices, Rob Wilson is highly educated and proficient in electrical and lighting solutions. His comprehensive technical capabilities reflect our understanding of the industry and our client’s needs. Still providing local electrical, lighting and sign service, we know our success comes from our culture. We treat our employees and customers with the same respect and courtesy we offer our family members. Customer service and support was, is and always will be our priority.

At Stones River Electric, we’re reminded every Christmas season that the brightest lights aren’t the ones we install—they’re the acts of kindness that shine in our communities.

This year, our team had the opportunity to sponsor several Angels through the Angel Tree program. We’re sharing this not to boast, but to highlight how many families right here at home could use a little extra love and support.

If you’re able, we encourage you to join us in giving—whether through Angel Tree, a local charity, your church, or simply helping a neighbor. Even small acts of generosity can make a big difference in someone’s holiday.

From our Stones River Electric family to yours: thank you for helping keep the spirit of giving alive this Christmas season.

Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women of our armed forces — those who have stood watch, sacrificed, and served with courage and commitment.

At Stones River Electric, we deeply value the freedoms their service has protected. Many of our own team members, families, and partners have proudly worn the uniform, and we are forever grateful for their dedication and sacrifice.

To every Veteran — thank you for your service, your strength, and your unwavering resolve. You inspire us every day to serve our customers and our communities with the same integrity and purpose.

Help Support Sam Webb and His Family

Many of you know Sam Webb, a dedicated member of the Stones River Electric family for over two decades. Sam is the kind of person everyone can count on — hardworking, dependable, and kind. Now, he and his family need our help.

Sam’s wife, Kerry, has been bravely battling kidney failure for several years and currently relies on dialysis. Recently, she was placed on the kidney transplant list, a big step forward — but with an average wait time of nearly eight years, it’s time Kerry simply doesn’t have.

There is hope. The family has learned about a promising stem cell treatment in Panama that has shown remarkable success in restoring kidney function and preventing the need for a transplant. It’s a chance for healing — but it comes with a significant cost, one that’s hard to bear with Sam as the family’s sole provider.

To help ease this burden, we’ve created a GoFundMe to raise funds for Kerry’s treatment. Every donation — big or small — brings them closer to the care she needs and gives this loving family hope for a healthier future.

Donate or share their story here:

Thank you for taking the time to read their story, share their journey, and support one of our own. Your kindness truly makes a difference. 💛

Throwback Thursday – Circa 2000

Saturday Night Lights - Before he was President of Stones River Electric, Rob Wilson was already setting the bar high—literally. Here he is, 120 feet in the air at Austin Peay State University, repairing sports lighting and ensuring the game could go on under the bright lights.

From climbing stadium poles to leading a nationwide team of electricians and designers, Rob’s dedication to lighting and electrical excellence has never wavered.

At SRE, we’ve always believed in strong electricians, strong leadership, and strong communities. This moment reminds us how far we’ve come—and how high we’re still reaching.
