Progress update from the jobsite. 🔨🏠

Things are looking a whole lot different around here.

Exterior walls are up, windows and doors are framed in, and roof sheathing is well underway.

One of the things we love about sharing these updates is giving you a look at everything that goes into a custom home before all the finishes cover it up.

There's a lot of planning, precision and hard work behind what will eventually look like a finished home.

This is just a little snippet of what our crew has been up to lately. 🔨👷🏠

🏡 BEHIND THE BUILD | All Wrapped Up!

Another exciting step forward on this custom home build!

The framing is taking shape, the house is wrapped, and we’re one step closer to bringing this home to life.

It’s always fun watching a project go from drawings on paper to a structure you can actually walk through. Each phase brings us a little closer to the finished vision!

Stay tuned as we continue taking you behind this build! 🔨

Building a custom home is one of the most exciting adventures you’ll ever take.

⛳️ Flashback Friday!

Trading in the work boots and tool belts for golf clubs! 😎

A little throwback then and now when the owner, Ben enjoyed some time on the golf course with his two sons.

Between busy schedules, job sites, meetings, homeschooling lessons, soccer practices and everyday life, it’s always nice to get away from the work for a little family time.

Although we’re guessing there was still a little friendly competition involved! 😉 ⛳️

A new home addition is officially underway! 🏡🚧

Before we can start building up, there's plenty of work to do on the ground!

Our excavation crew has been busy clearing, grading, and preparing the site to make way for this new addition.

It might not look like much just yet, but these early stages are an important part of getting everything ready for what's to come.

Around here, it’s not unusual to find Ben with one (or more!) of his kids tagging along. ❤️

Whether it’s working on a project, fixing something around the house, or tackling another task on his never-ending to-do list, he’s always been one to include his kids in whatever he’s doing.

Does it sometimes take twice as long to get something done? Absolutely. 😂 But to Ben, the extra time is worth it.

Because it’s never been just about getting the job done. It’s about the time spent together, the lessons learned along the way, and teaching the value of hard work, responsibility, and doing things the right way.

And if you know Ben, you know that same mindset carries right into how he runs QnC Construction.

Family has always been at the heart of this business. It's about more than building homes. It's about building relationships, investing in people, leading by example, and creating an environment where everyone feels like they're part of something bigger.

Some of the most important things we build aren't made of lumber, concrete, or steel. They're the values and relationships we pass on to the next generation. ❤️

BTS from the owner’s wife! 📸

Tagged along to the jobsite, and this is pretty much my typical view. 😂

Phone to his ear, checking in with the crew, talking through details, and making sure everything is moving along as it should.

There’s a whole lot more that goes into building a custom home than what you see happening on the jobsite. And even when he’s standing right in front of a project, there’s usually another one (or three 🤣) he’s thinking about.

Just a little glimpse behind the scenes of what owning and running a construction company looks like from my side of things! ❤️

🔨 BEHIND THE BUILD |
More Than Just Putting Up Walls!

There’s a lot that goes into framing a custom home before those walls ever stand!

Did you know many of the walls are actually assembled flat on the floor before being lifted into place?

From carefully laying out window and door openings to making sure everything lines up just right, it’s a process that takes planning, precision, and teamwork.

It’s these behind-the-scenes details that help lay the groundwork for a quality-built home! 🏡

“We want to build a custom home… but where do we even begin?” 🏡

It’s a question we hear often, and understandably so! Building a custom home is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when you’re unsure what comes next.

The truth is, every custom home follows a journey, and the steps taken before construction begins are just as important as the build itself.

Here’s how we help guide our clients through the process. 👇

🏡 1. DREAM – Every custom home starts with a vision. This is where we begin exploring what home looks like for you and your family.

🔎 2. RESEARCH – Choosing a builder is about much more than comparing prices. It’s finding a team you can trust with one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make.

🤝 3. INTERVIEW – This is where relationships begin! Ask questions, get to know the team, and make sure you feel comfortable. You should leave every conversation feeling informed, never pressured.

💰 4. FUNDING – Understanding your budget early allows us to design with realistic expectations and make informed decisions along the way.

📐 5. PLANNING – Arguably one of the most important steps! This is where we work through the details, ask the questions you may not even know to ask, and make sure everyone is on the same page. The more we work through now, the fewer surprises later.

📝 6. PRICING – Detailed pricing helps take the guesswork out of building. Our goal is to give you a clear understanding of your investment before construction begins.

🔨 7. BUILD – Now comes the exciting part! Watching all those conversations, decisions, and plans come together as your dream home takes shape.

Here's something we've learned over the years: A successful custom home isn't determined when the first shovel hits the ground. It's shaped by everything that happens before it.

At QnC Construction, we believe the experience of building your home should be just as important as the finished product.

Thinking about building a custom home someday? You don't need to have all the answers before starting the conversation. That's what we're here to help with!

Dream. Design. Build. 🏡
