Just a couple things to start off our week:

🎆 Sourdough reservations will open today for this upcoming July 4th weekend. We will have amended hours so we can enjoy time with our family. We will be open normal hours Thursday and Friday (10:30AM to 7:30PM) and we will be open 9AM to 2PM Saturday. 😊

🌼Due to a bit of a chaotic spring here on the farm, we were not able to do a native plant sale like we wanted. However, we are teaming up with Show-Me Natives Landscape and Design again this year to offer plant orders and pickups! Stay tuned for availability and how to order. 🥰

Join us Saturday, April 25th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for a fun-filled day celebrating nature at Arrow Rock’s annual Birds, Bees & Blooms Festival—hosted by MRBO and the Village of Arrow Rock!

This vibrant, family-friendly event brings together the best of the outdoors with:
✨ 40+ booths featuring hands-on activities, crafts, native plants, and nature-inspired goods
🌱 Live demonstrations and interactive experiences
🍴 Delicious food vendors
🦅 Guided birding tours and wild edible hikes through the historic site and Big Muddy National Wildlife Refuge

The snow is melting and we are all itching to start (or have already started) our seeds.

We will be restocking Clyde's Garden Planner - The Vegetable Planting Chart in the stand this weekend to help you plan exactly when it's best to start all your garden goodies. If you didn't know, Clyde is local but you can find his planner in shops and stores nationwide! 🤩

We will also be stocking a Missouri NATIVE Prairie Wildflower mix from our friend Paige at Show-Me Native Nursery. Now is the perfect time to spread these seeds as most natives need cold stratified. I did this mix last year in my wildflower bed and got some beautiful flowers, including evening primrose, partrige pea, native columbine, indigo, various coneflowers, and more!

These will be available in the stand starting this weekend!
