Our clients inherited several sentimental Koi from their parents and asked us to design a pond that would seamlessly complement the existing architecture and landscape. The result was a tranquil new home for the Koi that felt as though it had always belonged on the property.

Soon after the pond was completed, an osprey discovered the fish as well. We arrived one day to find a temporary netted tent protecting the pond — functional, but far from the vision we had for the space.

Ryan and his team went back to the drawing board and designed a custom architectural cover that not only protects the Koi, but also enhances the overall aesthetic of the garden. What began as a challenge has now become an artistic focal point — a true Koi spa with protection above and beauty all around.
