Some passions are taught. Others are planted early and grow for generations.

For us, gardening has always been more than landscaping. It’s a connection to family, time spent outdoors, and the simple joy of helping something grow. From one generation to the next, that love for planting and caring for the land continues to shape who we are today.

There’s something special about watching a space come to life season after season. And it all starts with a passion for horticulture.

Weeds don’t take vacations. The moment the weather warms up, they start making moves.

And on commercial properties, a few w**ds can quickly turn into a bigger problem by competing with healthy turf, creating an unkempt appearance, and making landscapes look neglected before summer even begins.

The best w**d control strategy isn’t reacting after w**ds take over. It’s staying ahead with proactive treatments, healthy turf management, and consistent care throughout the season.

A strong lawn is the first line of defense in the war on w**ds.

Some people dream about corner offices. Others would rather spend their day surrounded by trees, plants, and fresh air.

During Women in Horticulture Week, we’re celebrating the women helping shape and grow the green industry every day, from landscape installation and plant care to property enhancements and outdoor spaces people genuinely enjoy being in.

A career in horticulture is perfect for people who enjoy working outdoors, solving problems hands-on, and creating meaningful environments for communities to enjoy. The green industry offers real opportunities for growth, teamwork, and long-term careers.

From the field to the office, the women of Level Green play an essential role in shaping the relationships, communication, problem-solving, and professionalism that define who we are.

We’re proud to foster a team where different perspectives strengthen the work we do every day. At Level Green, it’s the mix of voices, experiences, and talents that helps us grow stronger together.

Who says corporate campuses have to feel all concrete and glass?

Seasonal flower streetscapes bring color, warmth, and energy to downtown properties while creating a more welcoming experience for tenants, employees, and visitors.

Thoughtful seasonal plantings can turn everyday walkways and entrances into standout features that elevate the entire property.

Seasonal color can completely change the way a property feels, but placement matters just as much as the plants themselves.

Entryways, signage, gathering spaces, monuments, and high-traffic areas are some of the best places to use seasonal color to create a stronger first impression and improve curb appeal. Thoughtful plant rotations can help properties feel more welcoming, polished, and professionally maintained throughout the year.

Strategic seasonal color helps draw attention to key areas while creating an inviting, well-cared-for environment for tenants, visitors, and residents.

With proactive care, seasonal enhancements, and attention to detail, we’re proud to support a property where beauty, reflection, and history come together.

Marvin Balsoma has worn a lot of hats over the years, baker, truck driver, furniture delivery guy, chef, salesman, but the role that fits him best is simply being himself.

He’s the kind of person who starts the morning with a joke to make somebody laugh, spends holidays cooking for more than 20 family members, and still makes his grandmother’s spaghetti sauce years later. Whether he’s mentoring his team, gaming with his grandkids, or getting up before sunrise to make Easter dinner, Marvin brings care, humor, and heart into everything he does.

That same dedication and authenticity recently earned Marvin another title: Lawn & Landscape Employee of the Year for 2025.

A proud husband, dad, grandfather, outdoorsman, and leader, Marvin’s story is a reminder that sometimes the right path takes time, and that the people who make the biggest impact are often the ones who stay genuine through it all. We are so thankful to have him as part of our team.
