Did you know Alice H. Parker helped change the way we think about home heating? 🏡

In 1919, Parker received a patent for an innovative central heating system that used natural gas to heat different areas of a home through a network of ducts. Her design helped pave the way for the forced-air heating systems we're familiar with today.

💡 From a groundbreaking idea over 100 years ago to the HVAC systems we use today, Alice H. Parker's influence is still heating homes.

Yay! It's 🗒

When you turn your furnace on for the first time this season, do you notice a burning dust smell? This is often normal and should go away within a few minutes as dust burns off.

Helpful tip: Replace your furnace filter before the heating season and make sure your vents are clear for proper airflow. If the smell persists, gets stronger, or smells like burning plastic or electrical wiring, turn off your furnace and call Lenz to have it checked. 🏠🔧
