This is a job we did over summer. Went back and added some cross members to the structural post mainly for aesthetics. The top part of the house overhung the porch below and was starting to settle. We ripped out the concrete slab, added footings, new sidewalk and some rough cut 8”x8” Hemlock post and beam. Was a really fun project. If your are thinking about adding grab bars in your shower, bath or toilet, make sure the installation is done correctly. We added grab bars from Empire Bath & Kitchen for this customer. We opened the walls from the back and added wood blocking in the walls to screw into. These bars will never fail when you need them for support
