This skylight has been on the roof for 30 + years. Condensation running down to the bottom of the frame over many years has not only caused mold on the surface, but rotted the wood frame in the corners. When doing a roof replacement, we recommend replacing any skylight over 25 years old. Don’t wait until they start leaking into your living space! The least costly time to do it is when the roof is removed.
