Today’s project involves installing travertine pavers for a pool deck. These are dry set but can also be set on concrete with thin set or mortar. Not the cheapest path to a nice pool, but definitely one of the prettiest!

Lighting… it can be considered a splurge expense but it will dramatically enhance and change the landscape at night.
I often hear that landscape lighting is thought of as path lighting for a functional purpose. This is true, but the most effective use of lighting is to create interest. This Outdecco panel does a nice job at screening a large open wall, but at night it becomes a focal point. Stay tuned for more examples of this!
