Some pics of the project we've been working on the past couple days! We did some backfilling to say the least. A wide pad on the right side for a covered parking area and a more narrow pad on the left for a concrete walkway. This is what 24 tandem loads look like! A customer from Morganton, NC gave us a call having some issues with drainage. We cut most of the back yard down to give the property some positive drainage while also keeping the property manageable. It turned out looking very nice! Before and after pictures of a job that turned out nicely in Hickory, NC! Ran new gutter pipes on both lower sides of the house to have a nicer neater look and finish. Worked the back yard and sowed it, along with additional drainage added. Last but not least we created a spillway using RipRap and mulched back up to the house! This is a before and after of a job that we took care of in Rutherford college! As you can see the ditch wasn't functioning well and the bank wasn't easy to maintain. So, we cleaned the ditch up all along the driveway. We added a good thick layer of RipRap throughout the whole ditch. We then cut the bank back so it could be mowed. Seeded the bank along with some straw and matting. Last but not least we top dressed the driveway with some wash stone! Give us a call at Byrd's Landscaping 828-448-0658. Always a pleasure working for this couple in Morganton! On this project we removed a large stump and cut the land down for some drainage. We then brought in stone to extend the driveway over along with doing some block work around the culvert pipe!
