Responsible for installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, vents, and fittings, build duct and metal fabrication, and ensuring projects are completed within budgeted labor hours and timeframe. Additional responsibilities: Communicate projects statuses with Lead, Foreman & Superintendent. Ensure jobs are completed according to plan. Maintain clean work areas (including trucks, vans, shop, warehouse, yard, job sites, and trailers). Must have a reliable mode of transportation, and ability to be on time and reliable.

The HVAC Technician will be working on troubleshooting, control systems and installing and repairing HVAC equipment and fixtures in the commercial and industrial industries.

Tasks/Responsibilities

Push, pull, lift to 50lbs
Interpret building codes and regulations as they relate to HVAC
Diagnose problems and make recommendations
Repair and replace damaged parts and equipment
Read blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams
Read and interpret City, State, and EPA regulations
Work independently in the absence of supervision
Work closely with colleagues as part of an integrated team
Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks
Understand and follow oral and written directions
Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Safely operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment
Recognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe work
Provide knowledge and train apprentices and newly assigned technicians
Possess basic knowledge of computers and cell phone apps
Qualifications

EPA Certification
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Willing to work in all types of weather
Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the HVAC trade
Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47-55 prevailing per hour

 Maintenance contract service tune ups on residential and commercial units
 Installing parts for service issues
 Warranty calls for new construction clients
 Assist with setting and charging AC condensers as needed
 Assist with furnace change outs as needed

Pay: Based on Experience - We reward hard work and pay bonuses based on performance.
