She has the knees for the dress, but his skinny jeans are all wrong. Also, we have a lot of snow in the hills around San Diego! Not quite down to our elevation, but close.

Widespread rain, snow at higher elevations, is expected through Saturday night in San Diego County.

Crowned in 1958 as Miss La Jolla, high school student Jo Raquel Tejada won her first beauty title at age 14 (four years before this photograph was taken). That same year, she became "Fairest of the Fair" of the Southern California Exposition and San Diego County Fair, as it was known then. Raquel is pictured here with Don Diego (portrayed by actor Tommy Hernandez), the Fair's beloved ambassador.

Later in life, Miss Tejada was known as the film star and celebrity Raquel Welch. We are sad to learn of her passing, she will always live in the hearts of fairgoers and be and indeleble part of the Fair's history. May she rest in peace.

Looking for some experience to expert drafter for residential construction drawings. Must have some CAD skills such as experience with AutoCAD. Must either have experience with or willing to learn to use Chief Architect software. Can work from home but would prefer working in our office in Valley Center at least two days a week. But that is optional. May have option to pay per project with the idea that this would be a way to make more money than hourly.
