Cottage Creek Gardens is not a garden center! Unlike many retail garden centers and big box stores, we grow most of our perennials, fruits, and shrubs at our small home nursery in Valley Cottage. They aren’t pumped up with fertilizers or forced to leaf out early in a heated greenhouse. So they’re not ready yet! Right now, our plants look very much the way they would in your landscape. They are just emerging, and the shrubs and trees are just now making buds. We don’t sell them until we know that they are leafing out and healthy. We hope to be able to supply you with some homegrown (by Duncan!) vegetable seedlings, herbs and flowering annuals as well as your favorite houseplants this month! But most of our perennials and woody plants won’t be available for several more weeks. Little by little our backyard is filling up. Come visit!
