Finished another sculpture this week and finally got it outside in the sunshine where it belongs.
This piece was designed around the idea of motion frozen in time using curved steel forms, balance, and asymmetry to create the feeling that the sculpture could shift or move at any second even though it’s completely static.
I love exploring the contrast between heavy industrial materials and lightweight organic forms. There’s something satisfying about making steel feel fluid.
