We’re mid-build on this Valparaiso home, and before a single sheet of drywall goes up, Mike is walking the site to make sure every wall is blown-in to R-20.
 
Why does that matter? Because NW Indiana winters are no joke. And the difference between R-13 and R-20 isn’t just a number: it’s how warm your home feels at 6am, how much you’re paying to heat it, and how well it holds its value for years to come.
 
Most builders insulate to R-13. That meets code. That passes inspection. But it’s the minimum, and minimum isn’t how we build. This is the work nobody sees. But you’ll feel it every single day.
