Just some progress on the retaining wall after being on vacation for a week. We are putting in stair to be able to get from first floor down to the basement. More videos to come.

Just showing some of the problems as to why this wall was failing. They also didn't backfill with gravel. That allows the water to run out and make the fill on the backside not to put excessive pressure on the wall. This wall is only about twelve years old when installed correctly it should have lasted way longer but cutting corners to save money rarely last long term. Give us a call if you have a failing wall. A little French drain in process over the weekend. House closes tomorrow tomorrow so got it knocked out fast in order to meet the deadline. No one knew there was a concrete pad there, 😳🤣. Glad we're able to find it and get squared away for the new owners.

Owners filmed us take down a retaining wall. The kids thought it was awesome, it was but the feelings of the ground shaking when it hit as well as the blast of wind. Always fun. It was leaning out about two inch on the top. We got it down and are going to use it as fill to help create more room. We are installing a new one with soar build another.

Back in the basement today after all the rain has passed through. Got it cleaned up washed and first coat of waterproof installed. Coming back for another coat and to install drains and a lot of gravel.

Fixing a drain issue on a walk out basement. Waterproofing is important but making sure you have a good clean gravel base for the water to flow through is far more important! Client bought this house knowing there was an issue and is getting it taken care of first thing. Water mitigation is a huge part of what we do. If you are having issues with water, anything from driveways and yards not draining to foundation issues give us a call and get a free site accessment.
