The Brazilian Nationals training Camp is in full swing, Stevie is getting Locked in and looking Dominant as ever , he continues to work hard every day with the Best yellow belt kids in the World 🌎, he’s in a unique situation at AOJ , they allow him to work with kids that are much older and way more advanced its the only way he can truly be tested its what I love most about the Academy , the Buzz around the Academy is if your close to Stevie’s weight and you have to Spar with him its gonna be an outright war doesn’t matter how old you are Stevie is gonna push these kids like they’ve never been pushed before his greatness is really showing through right now, I believe were all starting to get a glimpse of how good this kid really is.

2024 was special yo say the least , He would every imaginable Wrestling title that year on his way to becoming a 3 time National Champion 3 time State Champion and being recognized as the best overall Wrestler in the Country, he would also win all IBJJF Grand Slams that year , but the best tournament of the year was hands down the ADCC kids Worlds Championships , I Honestly felt that ADCC fit his style and personality more so than IBJJF, but the move to AOJ I felt changed his direction and he would became more involved in traditional Gi I’m not saying it was the wrong move , but I do wonder how it would’ve went if he would’ve went all in with ? I believe Stevie needs a bigger presence in No Gi and I believe he could build it through ADCC , unfortunately I don’t make those decisions and his Dad is a strong believer in AOJ and he trust there guidance

People don’t realize that Stevie was extremely close to going all in with ADCC at the young age of 6 , at the time his style was suited more for Grappling he was becoming one of the biggest young Wrestling Stars at the time and there was heavy conversations of leaving Gi and strictly building his Brand through No Gi , today Stevie is one of the biggest Names in IBJJF amongst the kids , but just imagine if he would have gone the other way and built his Brand through No Gi , I believe at some point thats still a strong Possibility I also believe that ADCC would benefit from having a kid like Stevie become one the big faces in there organization , I also believe theres a great Super Fight opportunity for Stevie in the near Future and I dont see it happening in an IBJJF event , but I believe it could happen through ADCC
