Story of the day: What is going on here?
The homeowner contacted us because they are experiencing water damage along the boxing (fascia)
Before replacing this type of damage we always want to make sure we find the source of damage.
Once remediated we are able to perform the replacement and we will have a very happy customer.
The reason for the damage was that the overhang of the shingles nearly touched the gutters; allowing water to creep back and damage the boxing over time.
We decided to seal the entire area with a custom made drip edge to prevent any water from backing up and not only damaging the boxing but the entire integrity of the home.
