Good evening, family and friends,
FIRST STOP TOMORROW MORNING St John's in Portland.
2nd stop Vancouver orchards area please let us know if you need anything we would be happy to drop off.
As many of you are aware, numerous families in our community are facing significant challenges right now. There are those grappling with the threat of deportation, families struggling with low incomes who have recently lost access to their SNAP/EBT benefits, and individuals who have lost their jobs due to the ongoing government shutdown. These circumstances have made it increasingly difficult for many to make ends meet.
In light of these hardships, I, along with my husband your well know landscaper Alonso, have decided to take action to support those in need. We have been truly blessed this year, and it is important for us to give back to our community. We understand that times are tough, and we want to do our part to provide some relief.
In our effort to help, we have purchased food items to assist a few families who are struggling. Traditionally, my family and I prepare warm meals to distribute to the homeless during Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, this year, we will be focusing on spending quality time with our children and grandchildren on thanksgiving before heading out of town for the rest of the Holidays. While we won't be able to continue our usual tradition this time, we still want to make a positive impact.
With that in mind, we are reaching out to you for support. We are accepting food donations to help those families in need. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference in someone's life. If you feel moved to help, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated by both us and the families we aim to assist.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to give back. Your kindness and support mean the world to us during these challenging times, these are a few items we gathered but we could use fresh fruits, veggies more milk, eggs, canned foods etc...
Thank you & God bless!
Feel free to share.
