At Fervo Energy’s Cape Station Phase II near Milford, Utah, we installed auger cast piles for Industrial Builders as part of the plant foundation package.

This was a rapid turn-around from contract to mobilization headed up by Foreman Jimmy Kellar and driller Tyler Ahmann. The sizable scope of work included continuous-auger drilling, concrete delivery, reinforcement cage placement, and pile locations while other work progressed nearby.

They key to this project was careful sequencing, efficient drilling and pacing with the cage assembly teams to ensure that shafts and cage operations were working in sync.

Creekside at the Allender Road Bridge replacement near Ryderwood, Washington to install drilled in H piles. The biggest challenge to this job (aside from avoiding the native peacocks in the area) was the extremely tight access into the site - shout out to our lowboy driver Chris Livengood for backing the lowboy all the way in the last quarter mile!

Power work is detail-heavy, and a lot of it comes down to getting things right before the rig ever starts drilling and accurately tracking every move from the start of the project.

At Belfair Switching Station, our drilled-shaft scope for Palouse Power meant confirming layout and elevations, working through the install requirements, and making sure the field documentation matched the work as it moved along.
On substation sites, everything has to line up with what comes next — steel, equipment, conduit, and the rest of the build. A small miss early can become a much bigger headache later.
That’s why the prep matters. Get the details right up front, then execute cleanly in the field.

A close look at our drilled-shaft work for Palouse Power at Tower Solar near Boardman. The shaft tops had specific alignment and finishing requirements for the next stage of work, and the crew’s attention here is on those details.

An August look at our reverse-circulation work at Park Place in Bend. The overhead view shows how much of the setup sits around the rig: trucks, hoses, and support equipment.
