The best time to hire a local roofer in Vancouver, WA to replace your roof is in spring or summer. However, depending on your situation, you might find yourself having to replace your roof in fall or winter, which is still viable to do.

There will be certain steps that your roofing contractor will have to take to keep your house dry throughout the installation process. Keep in mind that, if the shingles are installed in cold temperatures, you will need to give the adhesive time to even out. If the shingles are installed in fall or winter, they will be held down mostly with nails since the shingles will need the heat to activate the adhesive and even out. However, the roof will still be waterproofed under all of these circumstances.
