Love them or hate them we are excited to start another new round-about project here in the Clark County area this Spring. A road closure will be in place and a detour provided during construction but soon a new safer intersection will be ready for the late summer season.

UPDATE: Starting Monday, June 22 NE Risto Road will be closed between NE 176th and NE 182nd avenues and NE 182nd Avenue will be closed between NE Risto Road to where the road crosses Salmon Creek. The closure will reopen by August 14, 2026.
This spring, construction will begin to replace the existing intersection at Northeast 182nd Avenue and Northeast Risto Road with a single lane roundabout.

The project includes:
🚧Constructing a roundabout at this intersection, and aligning the road approaches to the new roundabout.

🚗Reducing the slope at Northeast 199th Street/Northeast Risto Road and Northeast 176th Avenue.

🚜Resurfacing Northeast 182nd Avenue from Northeast 167th Avenue to the north side of the Salmon Creek bridge on Northeast 182nd Avenue.

We will work directly with residents in the project area to maintain access to their property during construction-related closures. Closures will begin this summer.

Project information and updates can be found at the project website clark.wa.gov/public-works/northeast-182nd-avenue/northeast-risto-road.

Soon we will be starting our much anticipated next project, the NE 152nd Ave road improvement with Clark County Public Works.

Clark County Public Works is improving Northeast 152nd Avenue between Northeast Padden Parkway and Northeast 99th Street. The project will add bike lanes, sidewalks, stormwater facilities, two flashing-beacon pedestrian crossings, and a new traffic signal at NE 99th Street.
Construction will require closing sections of NE 152nd Avenue, and is tentatively scheduled to begin in early December and expected to be completed by early 2027, with work in front of York Elementary School scheduled for summer break 2026.

Pardon our dust, we have started a new project for Clark County Public Works at the Harmony Sports Complex here in Vancouver and look forward to the facility parking and access.

Construction has started at Harmony Sports Complex to add 200 paved parking stalls, improve drive lanes, and create a new access point.
