A family here in Camas was recently told they needed a brand-new roof because of a leak. That’s a massive, unexpected expense to have dropped in your lap. When we came out to take a look, we did a thorough inspection and found that the roof itself was actually okay—the water was just getting in through some old, failing box vents.

Instead of a full replacement, we replaced the vents and sealed everything up. It fixed the leak and bought them at least three more years of life on their current roof. Now, they can save up and plan for a replacement on their own schedule, rather than being forced into a big financial decision during a rainy week. We're big believers in only fixing what’s actually broken.

Chimneys are tricky. Because they’re sitting up there out of sight, most people don’t notice when the siding starts to go soft or the seals begin to crack. It’s not a disaster yet, but it’s a common "leak point" that can catch you off guard.

I recently worked on a chimney where the trim was just starting to rot. We caught it early, replaced the wood, and got it sealed back up tight. No "emergency" repairs—just taking care of a vulnerable spot so the homeowner didn't have to worry about it. Skylights are great for natural light, but they’re essentially a hole in your roof, which means they need to be perfectly sealed. I recently looked at two skylights where the glass was constantly cloudy. That’s usually a sign that the seal has failed and moisture is trapped between the panes.

When we pulled them out, we could already see water sitting where it’s never supposed to be on the roof side. We replaced them just in time—before that trapped moisture turned into a ceiling leak or rotted out the surrounding wood.

Next time it’s clear out, take a quick look up. If you see condensation that won't go away, it’s worth an Honest Inspection. I'm happy to take a look and let you know if it’s just a cosmetic fog or something that needs a fix before the next big rain.

Hello, I want to introduce myself. I'm Ryan! I have four years of roof maintenance, repair, and full replacement experience, and a total of seven years of construction experience under my belt. I've always wanted to start my own business and now I am doing it! I won't lie, it is nerve wracking and I am learning running a business is a lot more complex than it looks from the outside. And yet, I am excited for this change in my life and I really hope I can use this to bless others, both people that join my company and the greater community. I highly value relationships and showing up for people. I'm planning to structure into my business gifting one free reroof per year to someone in need, knowing from experience the security and peace that comes from having a roof over your head you can trust is not going to leak. Starting out, I want to offer one free roof cleaning to someone who needs it. This includes moss removal, gutter cleaning, roof treatment, as well as cleaning up the mess it creates, of course.
