The 2026 GRMCA Driver Skills Championship brought out some of the best mixer operators in Georgia, and Ernst Concrete had a good day!

Three Ernst drivers qualified for the competition — and that's no accident! What they do behind the wheel every day takes a lot of skill: tight jobsite access, backing a loaded mixer into spaces that don't leave much room for error, staying cool under pressure. The championship just puts that skill out in front of a crowd with a stopwatch.

Hunter Clore, out of our Oakwood plant, finished 2nd and is off to Nashville to represent Ernst at the National Competition. Standing with him are his Plant Manager, Robert Rose, and his Operations Manager, Shane Harrison — both of whom made the trip out to watch.

Hunter earned that trophy. Can't wait for Nashville!
